HERITAGE MOTOR MUSEUM
Where can you see the largest collection of historic British cars in the world? ...and Miss Marples Morris Minor? ...and a Riley Elf Mark 1 Saloon? ...and take the children Quad Biking? ...enjoy a leisurely stroll through a nature trail? ...and experience a hair-raising 4 x 4 off-road ride?
Experience all this and more - weird, wonderful and world-beating vehicles, all under one roof at the Heritage Motor Centre.
NATIONAL TRAMWAY MUSEUM
Look forward to the past! Experience it for yourself - you can then encounter the present and meet the future with confidence! In the clutter of the tramway closures we saved as many as we could. Because we knew they'd be back. And because a vital piece of history would have disappeared for future generations.
Over many years, we have restored this huge variety of Vintage Trams for you to enjoy. Open, closed, double-deck, single-deck, horse-drawn, steam and electric - all selected with care from New York to Yorkshire and from Prague to Portugal.
MIDLANDS RAILWAY CENTRE
The Midland Railway Centre is a great day out for the family throughout the year, whatever the weather. Travel by train to Swanwick Junction station to explore a remarkable project. A huge Railway Museum, The Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust Depot, 35 acres of Country Park, The Golden Valley Light Railway, Miniature Railway and Model Railways to mention just a few of the exciting activities you will find here.
HOLST BIRTHPLACE MUSEUM
This Regency terrace house, where the composer of "The Planets" was born in 1874, shows the 'upstairs-downstairs' way of life of the Victorian and Edwardian times.
It includes a working kitchen, elegant Regency drawing room and childrens nursery as well as Holsts original piano and the story of the man and his music.
BLACK COUNTRY MUSEUM
Discover a fascinating world when you visit Britains friendliest open-air museum. Historic buildings from all around the Black Country have been moved and rebuilt at the Black Country Living Museum to create a tribute to the traditional skills and enterprise of the people that once lived in the heart of industrial Britain.
Meet the characters in the original shops and houses, ride on a tramcar or fairground swing boat, take a lesson in the old fashioned school or explore the underground coal mine. It all makes for a fascinating day out for the whole family.
